Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hop Hop Hop AI ("we", "us") handles your information when you use hophophopai.org (the "Service"). The short version: we only use your photos to make your video, we don't sell your data, and we delete uploads automatically.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and name. If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive basic profile details from that provider.

Uploaded photos. The photos you upload to generate a video.

Generated videos. The videos created from your photos.

Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details such as your order amount, the credit pack you bought, and the payment status. We never see or store your full card number.

Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and actions taken, used to run, secure and improve the Service.

How We Use Your Photos

• Your photos are stored privately. They are not public and not shown to other users.
• They are used only to generate your video.
• To create the video, your photos are sent to our AI video provider for processing. The provider handles them only to produce your video.
• We do not use your photos to train our own AI models.
• Uploaded photos are automatically deleted after 30 days, or right away when you delete the video they were used for.
• Photos you send from your phone to your computer with the QR code are kept for at most 1 day.

Generated Videos

Your generated videos are kept in your account under My Videos until you delete them, or for up to 90 days, whichever comes first. Download any video you want to keep.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Service: create your account, generate videos and manage your credits
• To process payments and refunds
• To send emails about your account and notifications when your video is ready
• To provide customer support
• To prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service
• To understand how the Service is used so we can improve it

We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as much as each one needs:

• AI video provider — to process your photos and generate your video
• Stripe — to process payments
• Email provider — to send account and video-ready emails
• Hosting, storage and analytics providers — to run and improve the Service

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or the Service.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as language. We may also use analytics tools to understand traffic and usage in aggregate. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and private storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

• Uploaded photos: deleted automatically after 30 days, or immediately when you delete the video
• Photos sent from your phone via QR code: deleted after 1 day
• Generated videos: kept until you delete them or for up to 90 days
• Account and order records: kept while your account is active and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. You can delete any video yourself in My Videos: this permanently erases the video and the photos used to make it right away. For anything else, including deleting your account, email us at support@hophophopai.org.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and children under 13 may not create an account. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Users under the age of majority where they live need a parent or guardian's permission.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Significant changes may also be announced by email.
