“I'm So In Love With You”, also called Jiren Dancing, is a TikTok meme where people copy Jiren from Dragon Ball, the series' most serious fighter, swaying and posing to mthu's song “it's like i'm not even here”. It started with fan animations of Jiren dancing in September 2026 and blew up in late October. There are two popular versions: a real-person dance with two poses, and a four-pose AI version on a white background.
The humor is all contrast. Jiren is the stone-faced fighter from Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power, a character who barely changes expression. Watching him sway his hips and pose to a lovesick song is ridiculous, and that's the joke everyone copies.
You film yourself doing two poses: arms spread with fists clenched, then both fists on the hips, swaying to the beat. Most people film it at home, or in public for the reactions.
A dancer on a plain white background holds a new pose on every lyric line, with the words on screen. This is the version in the popular CapCut template, and the one our AI makes from your photo.
Each pose holds for about two seconds and snaps into the next one when the lyric changes.
“im so in love with you”
Knees bent, arms out to the sides with open hands, a small hip sway.
“youre so in love with him”
Drop into a deep, wide squat with both hands joined above the head.
“i dont know what to do”
Stand wide with both fists on the hips and a big open-mouth face.
“girl im a fool”
One hand on the hip, the other in front, and roll the hips to finish.
The sound is “it's like i'm not even here” by mthu. On TikTok it's shared under many names, so most people find it by its lyrics: “im so in love with you”.
The four-pose version uses four lines, one per pose, shown on screen in lowercase without apostrophes:

It's the first lyric of the sound, and the joke is who's “singing” it: Jiren, Dragon Ball's most serious fighter, dancing to a lovesick song. People use it for anything that's dramatic and silly at the same time.
Jiren, from Dragon Ball Super. He's known for his blank, stern face, which is what makes his hip-swaying dance funny. Fan animations of him dancing by TikTok creator @dblgiuzman started the trend.

The four lines in the dance are “im so in love with you”, “youre so in love with him”, “i dont know what to do” and “girl im a fool”, one per pose.
Jiren dancing animations appeared on TikTok in early September 2026, and the first edits with the song followed on September 17. It went viral in late October 2026, when videos of people dancing like Jiren passed millions of views in days.
The two-pose version is filmed by real people: arms out with clenched fists, then fists on the hips, about 7 seconds. The four-pose version is a white-background clip with one pose per lyric line and the lyrics on screen, about 8 seconds. Our AI makes the four-pose one.
